A pleasant four-day round trip brought us through lovely towns and fantastic alpine scenery, with numerous majestic castles thrown in for good measure. The terrain was hilly, but never impossible.

We are totally spoilt living here in St. Gallen with Switzerland, Austria and Germany offering oodles of long-weekend options in picture-postcard scenery. There’s no doubt about it – St. Gallen is a great starting point for highly-enjoyable getaways!
